I have a dell computer which has a cd/dvd rewriter on it my problem is it will burn off music cds and allow you to watch a dvd but it will not allow me to burn a dvd off on it ihave discounted the problem of discs as they work on my nephews computer can anyone help please? thanks

Are you positive it is a dvd rw?

Mine in a dvd/cdrw.

It plays dvds, but won't burn to them. It does burn to cds.
