I am planning to lay laminate flooring in my kitchen. I know I have to leave an expansion gap around the skirting, but should I lay the laminate under the kitchen units? If not, how big a gap should I leave round each support foot?

Personally I would remove the kick boards from the units and fit the flooring up to the legs then refit the boards after trimming them up.
Or try winding the legs up and then fitting the laminate under them, Then wind the legs back down onto the laminate.
