Why is Christianity considered dangerous by some people? After all, for all of the shortcomings of various Christian denominations, and individuals that can justifiably be criticised, Christianity was, for hundreds of years in this country, one of the glues that held society together, and influenced its direction and standards of morality.
Only in the late twentieth century, as atheistic secular humanism really took off, did we see the demise of Christian influence.
So, how has it been dangerous?

Yes, they are jews, insofar as they are ethnically jewish, but have realised that Jesus is the Messiah.
Sorry Theland, I'm afraid I don't see it that way, but this could go on for ever, so I think we'll agree to disagree on thisone, but as a thought, our departed friend Mani, born a Muslim, if he does convert to Christianity, what would he be called?.

A convert, a disciple of Christ. A born again Christian.
Can I try answer the original question?

Christians are seen as dangerous in some quarters because the world is headed down a dangerous path. Fundamentalism is the order of the day, and in countries like the US Christians have an undue influence on affairs of state, especially considering that church and state should be separate. This is akin to the middle east, where Islam and Judaism hold sway over secular politics.

You mention in a different thread that you wouldn't push the bible down the throats of those of us who choose not to listen, but I'm afraid the vocal public face of Christianity holds a different view.

Hope that helps...
