I've had the same problem in the past. A message saying "Adapter not compatible" or something similar. I was told that the belkin adapter only works with a belkin router and I assume that sky comes from something other than your belkin router?

ive got a wireless adapoter it will work on ntl/virgin but not on bt i think there are a couple of different types
