I love the taste of garlic, but hate the taste in my mouth the morning after. What can I put with it so that I can't taste the garlic long after the meal. Thanks

Probably an old wives tale, but chewing on fresh parsley is supposed to counteract the garlic breath.....
The other one is chewing on a cinnamon stick or, maybe cinnamon Dentyl chewing gum if it's still made lol.....
Also buy pure peppermint tablets from Holland and Barrett to stop the smell coming up from your tummy!
coconut and pineapple.
Cut the garlic clove in half & remove the green stalk out of the middle. (just flick it out with a knife!) This makes no difference to the taste but thats what causes the smelly breath!Try it, it really does work!
Try using a tongue brush after cleaning your teeth.

Thanks everyone, now you come to mention it, collettemarie , I think I've seen that on some cookery program.

Crete-coconut and pineapple with garlic? I can't imagine them going together?

I'll try all your suggestions. Thank you. : )
Pink pickled ginger, the Asian condiment you can get in most supermarkets nowadays, is brilliant! I used to work in a kitchen with a Jamaican guy who swore by it for neutralizing your breath...and it really does work!!!
Just pop a slice or two in your mouth and chew.
Mint leaves might help.

Or else, try slicing the garlic with a razor blade very finely so that it gets dissolved and loses the distinct smell/taste during cooking.
