I think the "vocative prohibition" answer is WARE (beware)., but not too convinced. Still working on the other two.

I think you are right with Ware grumpysod ,thanks. Do you think bacon by sixes could be Hexham as I'm not sure?
"Hexham" was the only word which I found could fit. Ham is bacon, but Hex means the evil eye, unless it is colloquial to a region. Still looking. Best of luck.
Found it! "Hex" is Greek for Six. So Hexham is correct.
Moses sidekick could refer to his older brother Aaron, who was also his constant companion. Apparently Moses had a severe speech impediment, and Aaron spoke for him.
Probably wrong, but I've researched Grandma and Ed (Moses), but can't find a better answer.
Scrub my last effort; I'd forgotten the answer was supposed to be the name of a British town. All I can say is that my answer was good - the question was lousy!
Question Author
The first answer I came up with for moses sidekick was Aaron but I was disappointed to find there wasn't a town of this name.2 out of 3 is brilliant Grumpysod so thanks for your help much appreciated.
