payment refund

booked a ticket from philippines to malaysia two-way last january. from here in mlaysia have to cancel my flight back to philippines as i have been offered a job. with this i was informed that refunding of payments would take about 3 months?!!! can someone give me an advise on this? i was booked taking malaysian airlines and cancelled the flight 3 days before departure.

When I have cancelled a business flight, it has taken up to 3 months to get a refund from the airline. No idea why, can't see it is justified, but you probably cannot beat the system
