My father is due to retire at the end of march 2007 at the age of 60. He is looking for interesting and rewarding part-time work, where he gets an opportunity to use his brain, such as public/voluntary sector, e.g. sitting on the patients' board/committee of the local NHS Trust for x days a year. It needn't be highly paid, e.g. expenses.
My question is how does he find out about these sort of jobs/opportunities? Where are they advertised?

Thanks,

These sort of advertisement usually appear in our local newspapers in the job sections. I have seen these type of roles for Court/Social Work/NHS. Find out which is the best paper locally for Job Advertisements and keep and eye out.

Thanks Moses. I have also found the public appointments website helpful.
