Cross Stitching on 7 count plastic canvas

IM in the middle of making a new baby card using 7 count plastic canvas material. Does anyone know how many threads of DMC to use or should I use tapestry threads? Please help

whenever I work with plastic canvas..and i have done many projects using this material...i use tapestry wool or ordinary knitting wool...ordinary embroidery thread just aint thick enough for me!

I guess you coud try 4 strands, given that 14 count stitching is usually 2 strands.
