I would assume the RSPCA is the best place to start. Don't have a number but i'm sure you will find a website for them.

If you need to report animal cruelty, you must be quick...before it's too late!
As Gaynor363 says, the SPCAs are the best place to start:

England and Wales: RSPCA:
http://www.rspca.org.uk/

Scotland: SSPCA:
http://www.scottishspca.org/

Northern Ireland: USPCA:
http://www.marine-media.co.uk/uspca/

The police may also be contacted although the SPCAs are better equipped to respond.
If an animal is being beaten or being mistreated that requires immediate intervention (dog fights etc), phone the police.

For cruelty involving bad housing, feeding etc. call your nearest SPCA.

Ok thanks for the info. Its a small dog. It is having to live outside and has had 2 for the past few months because it goes to toilet in the house. It lives in the garden even in snow. It is just a small dog. It makes me sick. The dog also screams from beatings it is getting because it gets under their feet. So many people get away with animal cruelty and its unfair.
If what your saying is true- I'd wait till there all asleep in the house then take the dog. I seriously couldn't stand by and witness/ hear what you do.

You must report it TODAY. Let us know the outcome.
If the RSPCA are not much help then try your local dog warden (can be reached via Environmental Health, Council).

Sometimes the RSPCA cannot do anything as it is not illegal to keep a dog outside, especially if it has some form of 'shelter' and has food and water.

To be honest I am with BOO on this one, I would quietly nick the dog and take it to a rescue centre a good distance away!
i'm so sad, i've been worried about this dog overnight, especially with the weather we've been having lately.

Can you please give us an update red rubies?
I agree! The poor little mite would suddenly go missing. I would have taken him. I COULD NOT and hear his screams! I would be over the fence(which would be something to see as i'm short)in a heart beat and i'd be in their faces so they had someone their own size to beat and who WOULD beat back!
Lucky I dont know their address and i'm 6,000 miles away!

Any news?,would love to hear a happy update
