Hi eddie, I used it as one of my questions in a pub quiz a few months ago - otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue!

Another useful one is KARAOKE = Empty Orchestra
which is similar to KARATE = Empty Hand
(when I sing on karaoke, a fight usually breaks out)
I should never have questioned the maestro !

5. Hi Whittywads - Still thinking but can't beat Rogerr's brilliant suggestion: 'Advice'
. . . . ad (Latin to/towards) + vice (sin/fault), e.g. advice on travel, health, etc. What do you reckon? ja
2. The same goes for Quizmonkey's suggestion, i.e. Anna Sewell's famous (male) GG 'Black Beauty'. Regular supplements and articles on Beauty in the press and a good answer in my opinion.
