Champagne I know exactly how you feel. My postman hasn't been yet and i'm afraid to leave the house cos I know if I go out before he gets here then i'm not gonna stand a chance of opening the door when I get back! lol
Cheers Champagne, you really know how to cheer up the rest of us that got nowt!

Think my postman is still trying to hire a van for mine as he hasnt turned up yet
4getmenot, ive just seen the posty broken down at end of our road. Do you think its the weight of your cards or mine that has caused the Royal mail network to come to a standstill on the industrial estate lol
Is EFC Essex Fried Chicken?
Panic Button, I may be living in Essex at the moment but it certainly doesn't stand for that! You did make me laugh though!
Got to be the weight of mine. Diamond rings weigh quite a bit
Last year I had to go out and buy a further 14 vases to accommodate all the flowers I got. They were hardly cheap and I could have done without the expense. It's just soooooooooooooo frustrating. Sometimes I just wish I wasn't so attractive to men... *rolls eyes*
Its chucking all them envelopes out that frustrates me. Because it always conincides that the bin man came At start of week so I have to wait another 2 weeks with my wheely bin full.
Bluddy admirers. *tsk*
OK!! so my sneaking off to florist thing didn't quite go to plan :-( ( see earlier answer) Sammy the dog, curled up on the bed looking after carakeel, heard me pick up the car keys, sprang into life!! jumped all over poor carakeels bad knee before hurtling himself down the stairs, hoping to go walkies!! I then had to peel carakeel off the ceiling in a great deal of pain while she was repeating unpleasantries under her breath.

She is now settled again, I managed to get her a nice rose and a card, and Sammy is forgiven.

Phew!!!!

EFC, Thank you for your kind words, I don't think I do anymore than any lover, husband or wife would do for a loved one, and carakeel is the kindest sweetest thing on the planet!!! i.m.h.o.

I hope all you lovers out there are as happy and content as carakeel and myself and if not, may you find true love and happiness very soon!!

Have a great day!!!
My thoughts today are..... which one of those pregancy tests is right.....
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !!!!!!!! ;~)

big fat snogs and loving licks especially to the very special laydee in my life XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

happy valentines day !!

I got some lovely flowers this morning, made my stinking hangover a bit better :-)
Oh RATTER, you really are my star! Love the beautiful rose and your lovely card. I'm well and truly off the ceiling now and up and about-ish, so doing fine. Like so many of you, I don't like the over-commercialisation of Valentines day. It is the sentiment, not the amount of money spent that carries value. In a way, it is a little sad that some people actually need this day to remind themselves how they feel about their partners.
To be totally honest, I do feel a bit guilty that I didn't realise it was Valentines this morning. I had a bad day and a worse night last night settling with my new knee and although I don't normally use bad language, Sammy-dog jumping on it did leave me in agony mumbling a few choice expletives under my breath. So when RATTER walked in with his rose & card and the warmest of hugs etc. :o) it was better than any rescue remedy!!

So I join RATTER in wishing you all a day filled with love and happiness. And if you have not yet found your true love, may he or she come along very soon and rescue you.
