Anybody know the singer's name and song title with chorus lyrics - "I'm coming home to see my father, I coming home to see my mother". The music was played in the background during the last episolde of Hell In The Pacific on the History Chanel.

I believe it's 'I'm Coming Home (To See My Mother)'

I have found two versions... one by a certain Clifton Chenier, or another by original Slint member David Pajo, recorded during his days as Papa M.
