My daughter has a 6 month tenancy agreement and the landlord now wants to sell the flat, do they have to honour the 6 month agreement?any help welcome!

Yes, thats why its an agreement. She could always ask for some cash to get out early.

Not always the case. It may be that there is only a requirement for one months notice. Read the tenancy agreement.
