No such thing as half a hole, a hole is a hole, no matter how deep
half a day
Is he a dwarf?
Only joking - A day and a half!
half an hour. Am I right?
Depends if there is anything good on the telly at the time
Lara, are you going to share your answer with the rest of us??
A day and a half. There is 1/3 of the workforce to do 1/3 of the work, so it takes the same amount of time.

the answer was the first one given. shrek2 is indeed correct!
Also there's no such thing as half a man so no hole would be dug anyway.
If the first hole is of a specific dimension, then half a hole is a valid concept. When digging for foundations of a house for example, if the required excavation is 20 square metres and 2 metres deep, then a hole 10x20x2 would be half way.
