I have decided to have some cosmetic surgery. ;-)

This will cost about 8000. My lovely husband has kindly said that as long as can find half of this amount myself, I can take the other half from our savings.

I dont work as I have to be around for our small children, so getting a job is a bit difficult.

I'll consider anything except the selling of my body!!

I wouldn't mind selling on ebay, but a) what would I sell? and b) where would I get those goods?

How would you make a quick buck?? Any ideas to help me in my quest would be very appreciated...

If my hubby gladly allowed me to take money from my savings for cosmetic surgery he would be needing it himself..or something removed from an oriface.

Not sure I get what you mean in your last answer pippa.

And jeeez! Aren't some people judgemental regarding my desire to have some private surgery.

Some have (incorrectly) assumed that I cant afford it. I could afford to have it done tomorrow and again the next week. My husband would just like me to demonstrate just how committed I am to this by coming up with some of the dosh of my own initiative.

And some have questioned my quest for the surgery, and put it down as a simple Nip/tuck issue. Its way more complicated than that and not an aesthetic issue.

I only asked for ideas on ways to generate the cash... look what I got...
I don't understand your husbands reasoning.

How much more commitment do you have to show other than going under the knife? it aint a picnic...

I would rather my husband argue that I don't need any work done ~ which he has :o)

Well.. its just different strokes for different folks really.

I dont blame him for what he's said... after all, that money from the savings is money spent on ME, rather than a holiday with the kids.

I think he's just compromising and assessing my motivation and committment to having this procedure done.

Also maybe hoping that in the meantime I might change my mind, as I dont think he completely relishes the idea of me undergoing the knife.

But he is supportive and wouldn't tell me to not have it done, as he knows where he'd get told to stick that opinion if he voiced it anyway!
Okey doke ;o)
