My husband and i have been trying for a baby for a year now, my periods are as regular as clockwork and this month i have missed a period (last period 17/12/06). I have had mild period pain for longer than i normally do, my breasts dont hurt (they are normally quite tender each month), my tummy is bloated and i am quite emotional i have also had 3 negative pregnancy tests. Any ideas??

Stressing about it could be stopping you coming on your period or it could be too early for the test to detect if you are pregnant. Just wait a week or so and try not to worry over it. Good luck

Thats the thing until this week i havent been stressing now i just wish i knew if i was or not, will try and get doctors appointment next couple of days.

blimey same as me. My last period was 26th November. Missed one that was due boxing day and I too ahev done 3 tests all negative. I have been trying 3 years and would love to have a baby but everythime I think I am Im not.

I even went to the doctors yesterday (22/1) and they said we cant test yet go home relax and try not to worry - take it they haven't been there themsevles!

i hate it when they say that. 'try not to think about it' easier said than done. Can someone put me to sleep for a month so i dont have to think about it. Wally's

you say you've missed Decembers period, have you ever missed one before since you've been trying?

Still negative pregnancy test, and this week to throw a spanner in the works have had period pain again with no period just a discharge - would love to know whats going on - have hospital appt in 10 days time (cant wait!)
