I was told by someone i know who rents out at 500 per month that thay take 1 months rent to manage his property, but what they do for that apart from find a tenant and do checks on them.i dont know ,i know it is not a matainance agreement hope this helps some.
about 8 or 10%
The letting agent may also arrange for work to be done in the property in the way of repairs by local tradesmen if the owner is away or abroad. the owner is contacted by the agent to agree work to be carried out. I am in this situation at the moment doing repairs requested by the tenants through the letting agency after consultation with the owners.
If you are considering renting out your own property - take a look at the National Landlord Assoc. (NLA) website - it has a lot of useful info.
