Stupid old me has managed to drill into my PIR alarm cable waking up half of my neighbours.

In the PIR alarm cable their are several smaller ones and I have only damaged one of these, what I want to know is will I be ok to join this one back up using a terminal block?
Or any other ideas. Any Sparky's out there?

Yes it will be ok to join it with a strip connector - just don't short the wires out or you'll blow the circuit board fuse in the main box. - a better job would be to replace the cable complete - easy enough to do.

Thanks for your help Woodchopper
If you are not going to replace the cable a better job than using strip connector would be to solder the two ends together and use some heat shrink sleeving to insulate the joint.
On fine wires like alarm cables It is always possible to over tighten the screw in strip connector and crush the wire causing it to break at a later date.
