Melamine in bathroom?????

Can u use melamine in a window as a shutter in bathroom? If not what other board can be used? Thanks

I have put up a plastic venetian blind before but as our shower is directly next to it, the blind ended up getting mouldy and went orange at the bottom!! I'm a bit stuck really!
