I'm pretty good at dealing with things generally... the one thing I have a real 'head in the sand' attitude to is filing my tax return on time! The last deadline is this coming Wednesday, otherwise a 100 fine... every year I leave until two days before this deadline and panic madly... what an idiot... every year after the panic I promise myself 'I have a whole year to do the next one so do it in July and chill come January'... hasn't happened in 10 years... should be doing it now instead of being here... but hey... there's always tmrw! Anyone else the same (make me feel better!)... or are you all hyper organised?...

Bill....do you work funny hours?
Oooh I know what you mean, thankfully we have an angel who sorts my husbands tax return every year, only just in time!! her charges are very reasonable, and she knows her stuff, otherwise we'd be paying the 100 fine every year!! the time passes so fast, and Jan is here again!!!!!!!!!!!! The cheque is now winging it's way to the Inland Rev, and I still feel sick!!!

you may have to make a home visit though. in a high flying business womans ensemble! all white blouse and black skirt!! ;0P
i work all the hours god sends ummmm
but he doesn't repay me with any kindness
thinkin of changing my career to a tax bandit
I am exactly the same. Last year promised my accountant faithfully that I wouldn't do this to him again. 4.45 today i was throwing myself on his mercy. He is going to do an estimated return and then finalise my accounts in Feb. Seems to work every year. I have just been trying to finish getting my records in order. Only 3 more months to go (groans). Get a good accountant (mine is an angel). And learn to beg!!!
i'm getting visualizations here of tim robbins in shawshank redemption lol
Reallly bill?................I'll sort you out
you a vat expert?
Yawn ...... Stretch..... Yawn...... I was up till 2am last night helping my mum fill in her tax return, even roped in my best friend who is a qualified accountant to help. Together we finally got through it, and submitted it on line this morning.

I feel for you snagged, Tax Returns are evl.
