Not sure what you mean by "normal memory card"
Memory cards don't HAVE compact flash, they ARE compact flash.
Compact means it's small
Flash means it doesn't forget stuff when it's disconnected

i have a fujifilm sd card in my camera its really small in size, but i seen other memory cards with compact flash, that would never fit in my camera. just wondering the difference (if any). does it just depend on your camera?
sd and compact flash are just different types of memory card. Different cameras use different types of card.
I suppose you could say some cars use leaded petrol some use unleaded both however do the same job.
