Taxes at Bangkok

Do we have to pay any extra tax when we fly into Bangkok from Gatwick ?? And how long is it by minibus from Bangkok to Hua Hin, what is the journey like ??

Re the minibus, we set out early morning from Bangkok and arrived at Hua Hin mid afternoon, but we made a couple of stops along the way at the floating market - (excellent!) and an orchid farm (not so good).

BK to Hua Hin takes around 2-21/2 hours. You only pay when you exit BK, you buy an exit "voucher" from a machine, just prior to going into the departure lounge. I think its around 500 bahts, ( around �8)

yep 500B each... they'll punch a hole in your voucher as you go through to your gate... don't lose the ticket or you 'will' have to pay again...
