Erm.... healthwise it's not going to kill you.

But desperately wanting one and focusing on that as a major thing in your life will possibly make you depressed.

Also, desperation can be seen by the oppersite sex and leaves a nasty taste in the mouth and is likely to make people run a mile.

That being the case I suggest you focus on the good things in your life and what you do have. Someone will come along eventually no doubt but the won't while you're obsessing over it.
'Someone will come along eventually no doubt but the won't while you're obsessing over it.'

What if someone doesn't come along?
What if looks and various personality flaws render one ultimately unlovable?
And what if the sky falls on my head while I'm out at lunch today Llamatron?

You can't live your lifes on if's and buts or in the past. That's actually an incredibly safe option, if you're not involved with anyone then you can't get hurt right?

Also, if you walk round with the vision of the perfect person in your head you are basically setting an unattainable position for anyone you're ever interested in to rise to. Hence the same outcome, protecting yourself so you don't get hurt.

If you are not open to love then yes, you're right, there's probably no way in hell it's going to find you. I would say that this would be more if a problem than looks and flaws.

Rendered unlovable through flaws? We all have them. When you love someone you see their flaws and you don't care (or so I'm told). When you love someone in return they make you want to be a better person. So your flaws are yours to own and change.

Looks? Please.... that is so subjective. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder honey, you should know that by now. (Frankly in my case it needs to be!)

No one is just going to come along and pitch up on your doorstep. But if you're prepared to take a few risks, if you 'put yourself out there' and if if you are receptive to love then yes, I think you will find it.

I don't think anyone is unlovable... hell, even Hitler had a wife and a mistress. Don't be so hard on yourself. Take care tiddler, chin up and all that.

China Doll.
It might not seem like it now, but there is someone for everyone, however long it takes. You must stop looking though, you have to, its the only way you'll ever find someone. Engage in other activities, forget about finding someone, get involved in clubs or do volutary work. You will find someone walks into your life when you very least expect it.... remember these are the exciting times, the anticipation etc... there is somebody for everybody. Good Luck
