Chelsea this has happened to me before. Try and find somewhere on the pages around your photo, it says you can 'sticky tape' a strip of paper with your new details on, over the old address. It is totally legal. I think you have to be able to lift it up though.
I would phone the passport office and check. You wouldn't want to pay for your holiday, turn up at the airport and then they don't let you fly!
I'm confused!

EU passports don't contain address details. (Well mine certainly doesn't!).

Even if you've got a different sort of passport to mine, your address isn't part of the information which a passport has to contain, so your change of address is unimportant.

the only address that could be on it would be for your next of kin,in case of a emergency, your address should not be on it unless it for your husband, parents etc
My husbands passport is still registered with his last address in Lancashire. He has lived up here since we met 2 years ago. We have been abroad half a dozen times with no problems and prior to this I called the passport office and told them he had moved, they amended records on their computer, but said it was not important as European passports dont show the address on them
sorry but when does your ticket have an address on it and when do they check your luggage labels against your passport ? never.they are too busy. I think you are worrying about nothing, unless it makes you feel better.
