Removing corsa headlights

Hi, I bought new headlights for my Corsa C but i'm struggling to disconnect the plug from the lamp unit, can anyone explain how I do this? There are red bits on top and bottom but no matter what I do it remains stuck solid. Any ideas would be much appreciated

For Corsa Oct 2000 - Sept 2003 - Twist ( usually anti-clockwise ) the cover and remove the cover complete with bulb from the light unit -
According to my Haynes manual.
