not sure im on right topic ,anyway can anyone guide me to a webb site or any other source of info re transfering my property to another to avoid having the sale of same absorbed into paying for care should i have to go into a home.
i know this has to be done 7 years prior to such an event but nothing else, im sure there must be more to be aware of.

Although there is one error, I think, at para.5 - I am sure there is no longer the 6 month limit.
Does that mean YOU will be avoiding paying for care so that I and others will have to pay for it instead?

thanks ethel, just what i wanted.
yes dannydingbat it was an idea to avoid nursing home payments to which i havent the slitest qualms having paid for my 5 children thru uni and over�70k of taxes during my working life during which i owe the state nothing.
