I've just sold 2 items on e-bay to the same buyer. The buyer has now contacted me to ask for cheaper combined postage. Now when I try to enter a "- 8.00" in the "Seller discounts (-) or charges (+):" box it disappears and goes back to 0.00

Does anybody know how to calculate a - x.xx amount so I can send the buyer a revised invoice?

Do you need to use the "" symbol?
Your seller can add the amount thats to be amended on their invoice
PS if you didn`t state you`d offer a discount don`t give it to them
Tell the buyer to get lost ...if they wanted combined postage they should ask before bidding, not after
That is not good business sense, naz. It does not encourage repeat custom or recommendation.

And if you don't combine postage charges you should send out individual parcels - after all, that's what is being charged for.
