Airline ratings - ever wondered

Not really a question but I recently provided feedback on an airline which is highly rated by Skytrax, to whom I sent my comments. Imagine my surprise when they published only the positives and left out all the negatives. Now we can assume that passenger comments do not really influence the ratings - do we also wonder how they are arrived at ? I know that I will not base my decisions on Skytrax ratings - it was my disappointment when using the airline that led me to write the feedback. The airline in question does not live up to the hype.

Indeed, last week I sent airlinequality.com a review about Monarch Airlines-a positive one at that-they claim that it is posted within 24 hours, well they still havent posted it and I doubt they will do. Not very impartial.
