Do your job well and there's no reason you shouldn't keep your livelihood, unless the business goes under. But that would hardly be the fault of fellow employees, who would end up in just the same situation as you.

Perhaps if everyone in the factory made an effort to be friends and work together, support one another, then you'd all be better off.
I work in a care home in east sussex, recently bought by mauricians. They are constructively dismissing people in order to get cheap labour. Our home is for elderly mentally infirm, and I feel so strongly about this I will be writing to the inspectors. They are getting rid of english people in favour of east europeans to save money. They employ them as bank staff to save paying holidays and overtime, allways keeping them on vbery low wagesbecause'they are not good enought yet' before they overload the english work force with such rediculous work loads in thier jobs that they leave. I think parliment should look at this problem, and act on it now. Its a huge problem.
