Hi all.
Just bought a widescreen monitor, set it up and its brilliant. I used a 'normal' VGA cable. My graphics card (7900GT) and the monitor support a DVI connection. (I used VGA as the supplied DVI was too short!) What is this, and will i notice any difference between the two? Worth buying the DVI cable or is the VGA ok? Thanks. PM

DVI is the same thing, but a digital connection, so technically you'll get a better signal from the card. You may not notice that much though; it'll be more obvious with a larger screen.
