Can anyone tell me the required connectors I need to record from a VHS vcr to my Mac? I have appropriate software and a scart (Euro plug with red,white, and yellow phono sockets on the rear) Do I need to connect all three phono's?

I don't own or use a Mac, so I'm slightly in the dark here, but I can tell you that the colour codes are as follows:
Yellow = Video
White = Left audio channel
Red = White audio channel
So, you do need to connect all three leads.

As I've stated, I know nothing about Macs, but 'bog standard' PCs need both appropriate software and a TV card (or similar device) before they can be used to record video signals.
