which is the best shampoo for coloured brunettes? I am naturally brunette and recently reverted to brunette after having had highlights for years, so my colour is brown over old highlights

try dove for darkend hair, sunsilk for brunettes or the new panteen pro v for brunettes, it all depends on your hair type, e.g. dry, oily, etc. also try a leave in conditioner (the dove for darkend hair) leave it in for about 10 minutes for it to really soak in.
if you wanted to strip out all colours and go back to your natural brunettes colour use head and shoulders, it is known to strip your colour and it feels fresh and great!

I dont want to strip out my colour, just want something to enrich the colour and keep it. I mostly have dry ends and slightly greasy (but not too bad) roots
i use the john frieda brilliant brunette shampoo and i love it. they have different kinds for different types of hair and it gives a lovely shine to the hair.
I use the John Frieda stuff too, the medium brown one, and everyone always comments on how shiny my hair is...
trevor sorbie or if you want a more cheaper 1- get boots own 'botanics' i think it is. they do this in a shampoo & conditioner & definitely adds a shine & keeps your colour looking healthy!
John Frieda - Beautiful Brunette shampoo & conditioner is good.
