Sterile from a computer?

Bit of a scary question but can a person become sterile from using a laptop? also can it happen from wearing 2 pairs of trousers? (i work outside and am slim)

It was reckoned so on a programme a few weeks ago purple. I cant recall which programme it was now..duh. It's something to do with the heat from the laptop.

better not use it on your lap too much.. use a table instead.. If you still wanna have kids, no sense in testing that theory.. BTW.. wear loose pants.. Apart from anything else, its way way more comfy..

Well no male members in my family use their laptops on their laps So I guess they have heard the rumours. Something to do with the heat they give off I believe

Thank you everyone who have participated in posting an answer for me, in general I use my laptop on the coffee table except for the odd occassion that I have it on my lap, well more near my knees anyway. I shall be even more careful in future, the only thing is I hope I am not too late and have done irreversible damage or something. Oh well I can only wait until its time to see. Thanks again
