These drivers that fill their hatchbacks full of speakers and blast it out at full volume while they are driving (we have one and when he enters the end of the road which we have measured at 1/4 mile and we can hear him) must be at least be driving without due care and attention, does anyone agree

It is quite easy to stop him doing this.

Anti Social Behaviour Orders can be taken out against anyone who is carrying out anti social behaviour, all you need is to get a few of your neigbours together and tell the police you would like them to give him an ASBO, they are obliged to investigate and they will give him one, it is up to him to prove he is not being anti social.

Give it a try.

Thats not antisocial! It's his mating call. How else is he supposed to attract loose blondes wearing Gold Clown Jewlery and a pink tracksuit!
Some people.. !
If you really cant stand it, I bet one of those Tazer guns the police use would seriously duff up the electrics in there....
Not that I reccomend this sort of vigilante behaviour in any way of course..
Sorry to put a downer on your answer Toureman but the law in this country states that a person is innocent until proven guilty. Therefore it is up to the community and the police to prove that the little chav that has his music up loud is being antisocial. The only way that the community can do this is to ask a policeman to be present with a device that can measure decibels and then you can prove that he is guilty. I'm afraid that he does not need to prove anything and until you or the police have evidence to do something about it, he can keep doing it as long as he likes.
