There are no shaded areas and you guys are talking about your own link game in the asbence of Mon Herculis.
Pls enlighten me I have been away for 1 month, because if the have stopped the Herculis I have no need to buy the Telegraph on Mon, only the Express, they have not stopped that one have they ?and is there another crossword on Mon to send in for a prize pls ?

We are no longer taking our link words from the DT (or any other newspaper) instead we appoint one of our midst to set the words to be linked (and they only hold the solution). To set the ball rolling the setter is ShamrockBlue who devised the game. It continues in memory of MM.

Participants know that it is only a fun exercise. The top scorer in this month will be the setter for next month. The words to be linked are posted on AB at 9.00 Saturday morning and answers (and points scored) are disclosed at about 19.00 Sunday evening using the same site on AB.

Everyone is welcome to join in. I know that you personally took part in November (but not December). If you have trouble finding the current AB site to lodge your predictions, then come back to me.

The shaded clues/answers have been discontinued by the Daily Telegraph on both Saturdays and Mondays following the recent death of Michael Mepham.
