I have recently purchased a digital sender to allow us to watch & change sky channels upstairs. Shortly after installing this, our wireless broadband signal decreased and finally disappeared. We now have a more powerful wireless router and everything appears to be working ok. I switched the laptop on upstairs last night and the signal went funny on the tv. Has anyone else had any similar problems? Am I going to break the new wireless router? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks for your time Emma

Yes it can and does happen.

Try changing the channel on your router - it is usually 11, and a different channel might stop the interference.

DECT phones can also cause interference to your router, by the way.
Yes this can be a problem we had this exact problem. I changed the channel the wireless router was broadcasting on.
