Does anyone know why she retired from proffesional dancing? I cant understand it because she is awsome as a dancer and am so pleased she won strictly with mark.

It says in this site that she retired in 1999 for family reasons

Because her (Dancing) partner at the time Brian Watson dumped her for Carman his currunt partner. Karen felt hurt and a little bit humillated by it all and retired insted of tyring to seek a new partner. I think there was more in the partnership to just dancing.
