What currency do I need for Slovenia - Euro's or Slovenian Tolar?

the tolar is still the currency of slovenia, however in bled earlier this year, euros were widely accepted.
As I understand it (and I might be wrong!) but the switchover from Tolars to Euros will occur on the 1st January 2007, but both are certainly accepted at the moment.
yup, changes over on January 1. But euros are already accepted, so wouldn't hurt to take them even if you're going this year.
