hi everyone my 16 month son has got really bad diaoriah and has been really grisly today i no he is teething so just put it down to that but can anyone reccomend anything i could give him, thanks x

Call NHS direct and ask them, they are very helpful and will recommend something.
Give him boiled cooled water havingmysay. You can also get him Dioralite from the chemist. It comes in sachet's and you give it to your son from one of his feeding bottles.

what is the age for that dioralite my sister asked in boots today but they said it was 12 yrs+ x
I gave it to all 4 of my babie's and my grandson when he was a baby. I used to get it on prescription then. Have a Google hms. Unless they changed the rules I've always known it to be fit for baby's and toddlers.
I remember having that myself much younger than 12 years old.
havinmysay, make sure he gets lots of fluids, if you can get some dioralite then that will help him a great deal but it won't cure the illness. If it continues for more than a day or two get him to a GP, they might be able to give him something to settle his stomach.

thanks for all your answers he seems much better today and his pooh is much more solid (sorry for going into to much detail)and has ate and drank normal again.x
