Before xmas i saw an advert for a ear syringing product, it was battery operated and squirted water into you ears, can anyone tell me what it is called? its not the spray thingy that you can get in boots, many thanks

No, no, no, don't do it. Those kits are a complete waste of time and money. Recently heard from my brother-in-law, who suffers bad wax build up, that he was advised by his doctor to top head to one side and put a little olive oil down the earhole. Does exactly the same job as syringing.
hysteria's right, use olive oil. You shouldn't use a syringing product before seeing the doc anyway, incase you have an ear infection.
Well the olive oil has never worked for me at all. The electronic kit is used in my doctors surgery - works well, but must be enxpensive to buy? I go for the plastic syringe filled with water/bi-carb option. usually gets the wax out after 3-6 pumps
