Does anyone else have this problem.Sound goes off suddenly mid programme to return just as suddenly usually within 30 minutes.Any help or information would be appreciated.

Yes, mine does it. Just go up/down a channel and then return to it. Ok if you are watching it but totally useless if you are recording it !!!!
