equal amounts of salad cream and tomato ketchup, spoon full of mayonnaise and dash of worcester sauce
Same as balearic - except I use extra thick double cream instead of mayonnaise.
Half mayonnaise, half Heinz Tomato Ketchup, dash of lime juice, good pinch of sugar, small pinch of salt, sprinkling of cayenne pepper, and mix thoroughly.
Whatever else you do use, it MUST be Heinz tomato ketchup, I don`t care what anyone else says!
Most look pretty good, but ya'll forgot the horseradish...

Here's ours:
1/4 cup ketchup (you can argue over which one)
3/4 cup Chili sauce
2 TabelspoonLemon Juice
1 Tabelspoon Prepared Horseradish
2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp grated Onion (finely grated then dabbed with paper towel to dry)
dash of bottled Pepper Sauce (we use Tobasco of
course)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients; mix well. Add salt to taste. Chill. Makes 1 1/2 cup sauce.

Don't even think about using salad cream - yuk - should be banished to Room 101 along with Christmas.

Mayonnaise, a mere splurge of tomato ketchup or pure, a dash of lime or lemon juice, a dash of cayenne or pimenton picante and you have it. What could be simpler?
For 6oz of shelled prawns.

6 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of double cream
half tablespoonfull of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of tomato puree or sauce from bottle.
1 tablespoon of medium dry sherry.
A few drops of Worcestershire sauce.

We like it and our guests are perhaps too polite to say otherwise.
