In Malmo, last year, I was pleasantly surprised that beer wasn't as dear as I'd been led to believe it would be. I seem to recall that it was just under �4 a pint (which, considering that even back street bars in places like Paris charge around �6 per pint, seemed quite reasonable to me).

Travelled to Sweden,Denmark and Finland in may this year and in each place,bearing in mind we were in the tourist areas of each capital,it was �6 a pint .

Copenhagen, Denmark, just over from Malmo was �4.90. I was told Norway and Sweden was more expensive but I guess it depends if you're in tourist areas or not.
