what do you expect to gain by using the Answer Bank ?

just wondering what each of us expects from being a member of the AB. i found the AB by chance i think ! when i first came in here i was happy just to read a couple of questions and answers. i came in here to give a bit of my experience and to gain a little bit of knowledge. the reason i ask is because there are lots of people who have taken it on themselves to be the answer bank medeators. the "i dont like this" and the "i dont like that Q or A, so im gonna get it banned" just curious !

RATTER told me about the AB and I have enjoyed it ever since. Loads of great information, good debates, the odd one that goes wrong cause some people can't keep their tongues in check, but overall a great site, thanks also the the AB Eds, who haven't got an easy life with us crazy folk.
They should do a "Carry on up the AB" film, now that would be a laugh! Imagine all the fascinating characters ... xxx to you all, night night!

Hi Funkymoped :-) i found AB by chance back in March, searched on google for something about the television if my mind serves me correctly. Came across a wonderful thread started by rugeleyboy as you well know and that was it!
Dont know what is was about this site, but i got addicted, not quite as much these days but i still enjoy it.
There are some fantastic people on here, as well as a few prats, but on the whole a great bunch with a wealth of knowledge! X
