With plenty of good-name celebrities leaving the Comedy Awards, Friday's tabloids ran photos of Alice Beer who apparently used to be Anne Robinson's assistant on Watchdog many moons ago. That's because allegedly an inebriated Beer, now a 40-something mother-of-2, happened to fall over in the road in front of waiting photographers. What do you reckon - a pathetic attempt to attract publicity?
