webcast music?

Does anyone know how i can broadcast my music over the net. I have connected my decks to my pc now i just need to know how to stream/cast the music to my friends does anyone know how i can do this? thanks

Hmmm.. I know there is a way as I have done it in the past but I cannot remember the name of the software I used. I know people could open windows media player and type in my IP number then /something. Try doing a search on http://www.cnet.com or http://www.tucows.com

There's a music player called Jet Audio, that has an option for streaming your music as an internet radio station. Click; http://www.jetaudio.com/products/jetaudio/ It's actually a very good music player also. Much better than Winamp/Musicmatch et al.

headtime thanks for the jetaudio. it works well but theres another id like you to help with me if its ok. do you know how i can broadcast the music coming from my decks/turntables. these are connected in the line in port of my sound card. is there a way i can get jetcast to pick up the sound from the decks rather than use mp3s?
