Does anyone know what the estimated price of a ticket is? Obviously it will depend on the distance etc but is there a general cost region? thanks!

singapore airlines were due to take delivery of the 1st ones next year, but that has been put back over another year as they have problems with the wiring etc,so i would think no prices for any journey would be available just yet, because of the delays a lot of orders have been cancelled as well,so it could be 3 yrs before it flies commercialy
There wont be any difference in the pricing if you happen to be on the a380. Perhaps at first you may find that due to supply an demand it is harder to get on the a380 and thus making it expensive. Apart from that , after a short time you will find that pricing will be based on the usual, supply and demand, distance and destination.
As each type of aircraft is designed and built, the deciding factor for the manufacturers is to make it cheaper for the airlines to operate See how budget airlines are able to charge such low prices these days, and still make a profit?
But pricing is usually based on what the market will bear, and you've only to look at BA's fares as proof. You can travel half-way round the world for the same price as a Shetland Islands to London fare.
