If you have purchased it why do you need to know which is best? I dont quite get question. :-)
I think I understand the question. I purchased an electric toothbrush and the vibrations started up an abcess that probably would not have happened had I have been using an ordinary toothbrush. My friend who is a dentist thought the electric toothbrush was finding a weakness in a tooth and worrying it enough to start the abcess. Her advice was to go back to a normal toothbrush and leave the battery ones alone. My advice would be a good Wisdom toothbrush, decent toothpaste and a good mouthwash.

i haven't used or opened it yet. so i could return it if i find any reviews to say it's not a good product.

thank you for your help.
I can only tell you that within a few months of buying an electric toothbrush (not battery) my own gum problems and my husbands have completely gone. He was always on anti biotics with gum infections.

My hygienist recommended the Braun OralB. Expensive at 40 but I bought it from AmazonUK at a greatly reduced. To begin with my gums were a bit sore but with perseverance it became second nature and I would never go back to a normal one. The plaque has practically disappeared, cutting down our dental visits considerably.

My first electric tootbrush was a Phillips(can't remember the model name) When I went to buy a replacement head I discovered they had discontinued the model I had so I had to buy a new complete tootbrush! My dentist recommended the Oral B and thats wht I have been using ever since, no problem with replacing the head on those and they are available everywhere (unlike the Phillips ones) get mine with the shopping in Tesco.
My dentist is for them. We use the Oral B one and it is great. I had a gum infection last year and after changing to the electric toothbrush it cleared up and my teeth have never looked so good.Brenda
