snowmen is easy if you can find some sort of white suit, then just add big white buttons a cardboard nose and paint her face white, bobble hat and a scarf. xx

Fairy on the top of the tree?
Angel?
Rudolph - brown clothes, black gloves, head-band antlers and a clowns red hose

Elf - red and green clothes, little shoes with bells on the end and a little hat, with rosy cheeks

Xmas pudding, a robin, xmas tree. I like the present idea too

and hardly xmassy. Funny how when you're young you want to fit in, now I jump at the chance to dress up :-)
dress her in green and put round red hair bobbles in her hair and she can go as a piece of holly

Dress her in white and she can go as a snowflake

She might not feel as self concious if she is wearing 'proper clothes' instead of an actual costume.
I think the problem is that we think of age 8 like we were at age 8 - but times have REALLY changed!!! I heard on TV this morning that age 10 is the new age 15. Perhaps if you approach it from the angle of what would a TEENAGER want to do:)
